Ryan McKee is an Emmy-winning writer and producer. After founding Modest Proposal Magazine, his career has included everything from writing questions for Trivial Pursuit, losing on Last Comic Standing, getting yelled at on the set of Nanny 911, being a senior editor at MTV News, and working on staff at The Late Late Show with James Corden. He created and wrote James Corden’s Next James Corden, which starred Haley Joel Osment, Sabrina Carpenter, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and predictably James Corden. It went on to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series in 2018.

Ryan never liked the way he walked away from Modest Proposal Magazine without collecting all the content for future readers to discover. He hopes this book will transport back those who were there and help others experience what comedy was like during this era.
